It can be spread manually or mechanically. The application of the snow melting agent shall be determined according to the air temperature. Generally, it can be spread at the beginning of snowfall, or 1 to 2 hours before the road surface is estimated to freeze. To prevent the road surface from icing, one application is usually sufficient. For snow removal operations, the frequency of application can be consistent with the frequency of snow removal.
